ARTNeT Advisor: Modelling for Trade Policy Analysis
Ms. Anna Strutt is Professor of Economics at the University of Waikato, New Zealand. She is also a Global Trade Analysis Project (GTAP) Research Fellow (2015-2022) and a member of the Pacific Trade and Development (PAFTAD) International Steering Committee (2019-ongoing). Anna’s research is largely in the area of international policy analysis, particularly quantitative assessment using global computable general equilibrium models.
Anna has served as a consultant or expert advisor to a range of national and international organizations, including the Asian Development Bank, EU-Vietnam Multilateral Trade Assistance Project, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT), United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), and the World Bank. Anna also regularly contributes to GTAP short courses at Purdue University.
