The 10th meeting of the Asia-Pacific Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Network will be held virtually on 23 and 24 February 2021.
The Network was established in 2011 as a mechanism for knowledge sharing among FDI policy makers from Least Developed and Landlocked Developing Countries of the Asia-Pacific region and was expanded in 2015 to include all ESCAP member and associate member States. In 2018, the Network was incorporated under the umbrella of UN ESCAP’s Asia Pacific Research and Training Network on FDI (ARTNeT on FDI). ARTNeT on FDI serves as the unifying platform for UN ESCAP’s capacity building, technical assistance, and knowledge sharing work.
This year’s meeting of the FDI Network will continue to provide opportunities for FDI policymakers in the Asia-Pacific region to discuss topical FDI issues and increase their knowledge through exchange of experiences and interaction with FDI experts. Please refer to the attached draft programme for further information.
