The Asia-Pacific Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) network brings together FDI experts and policymakers from Governments of Least Developed and Landlocked Developing Countries to discuss and share experiences and best practices on the promotion of FDI for inclusive and sustainable development. The Third Meeting of the Network will discuss the role of FDI policies in ensuring inclusive and sustainable development with a particular focus on the natural resources sector. The Meeting will also discuss lessons learned from OECD investment policy reviews in the region as well as the role of incentives in promoting FDI for sustainable development. Participants will exchange experiences and best practices on FDI policymaking and identify key issues that could be addressed through regional cooperation or further study.
